For a long time, I never used wheel coatings. I basically put them into the hard basket and as long as I applied P&S Bead Maker after each wash, the protection and cleaning after was okay...ish.
 
I always looked at wheel coatings like they were a cheapened version of normal paint coatings. they never really interested me.
 
When I switched paint coatings from GTechniq to Gyeon I looked at Gyeon Rim and thought.. "why not, I might as well give a try". I had recently brought a set of 2 piece BBS LM's that I was planning to split and refurbish so those gavee me a good oppertunity to install the coating and see the results.
 
I'm not gonna lie, it's a game changer. They wheels stay cleaner for longer, and are super easy to clean. This is actually quite important as it limits the amount of scrubbing required, therefore limiting the chances of scratching the wheels.
 
If you have wheels with a lot of spokes the coating process is a little tiresum but if you can get through that, the results are absolutely worth it.
